VoxPopMe is hiring – US Business Development Exec needed

Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC

Salary: $40,000+ (DOE) plus commission

Type: Permanent/Full-Time

The Opportunity 

VoxPopMe, truly one of the global leaders in remote video market research, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their fast-growing team. As we continue to grow in Europe, US and Asia, we need a solid, self-motivated BDE to accelerate revenues in the US. With exponential global growth, and voted as one of Europe’s most exciting start-up’s, you will be joining the company at a perfect time. Provided with a real opportunity to make a difference. As a result, you will need to excel in a fun but fast-paced environment.

You will need to be comfortable pitching to major brands and communicating with all levels of an organization. Despite only launching 2 years ago, we already have a growing client base of well-known brands like McDonalds, Chrysler, Sprint, GM, Hyundai and British Gas. Previous experience working in a Market Research or Marketing environment is preferred.   

Responsibilities: 

Generate new business opportunities focusing mainly on US brands

Attend industry conferences and events

Manage/increase penetration of current accounts

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients

Communicate new product features or creative research methods with current clients

Meet potential clients to pitch the platform

Update sales progress and pipeline using CRM tool

Have the ability to work with minimal supervision

Achieve monthly revenue targets 

Key Skills / Requirements: 

Have a friendly and approachable telephone manner, demonstrating excellent relationship-building skills with customers

Capable of presenting to all levels of an organization

Able to identify product and methodological solutions to meet customers’ needs

Solid experience of closing new business deals

Experience of growing and managing current accounts

Experience selling products into the consumer research industry (not essential)

Able to multi-task

A work hard, play hard mentality (desirable) 

The role will require a proper US driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (though the majority of client interactions will be outside the Raleigh-Durham area).
