If you are a marketer, then you will understand the value of content marketing.
A recent study by HubSpot and Smart Insights found that 97% of European marketers genuinely believe in the power of content marketing.
Content strategies are used to attract, convert, nurture and support customers.
However, it's hard to argue against the fact that content marketing is seriously time-consuming. And sadly, for some, it can become a mundane task that loses purpose and objectivity over time.
So how do we tackle this problem?
By following the 3 Pillars of Content Marketing:
- Clearly identify your target audience and understand which content will add value to their day.
- Know where your target audience hangs out, and share educational, valuable content to them via these channels (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.).
- Deliver consistently both in time and theme. But make sure you always put quality before quantity - don’t just create or share for the sake of being consistent.
