Business Development Manager

The Inside Sales Representative can be based in our London or Birmingham locations and will report to the Inside Sales Director (based in the US), taking ownership of demand generation and driving the sales funnel for EMEA and APAC regions. We work with the world’s leading agencies like Kantar and Nielsen, cutting-edge software partners like Zappistore, Gutcheck and FueCycle and amazing brands like eBay, Channel 5, Sony Music and Tesco.
You will need to be self-motivated, passionate, high performing and enjoy working in an exciting startup environment. Some market research industry experience preferred but we do offer a comprehensive training program.

Core Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to produce and promote messaging to develop new client opportunities
  • Develop new qualified sales opportunities through engaging outreach programmes
  • Work closely with our Enterprise sales team to consider target verticals/ opportunities
  • Using various online prospecting tools like LinkedIn and Zoom, you will find and add prospects to our CRM, and target with outbound sales follow up
  • Monitor and track potential client progress through our sales and marketing funnel and follow up as appropriate
  • Prepare and analyse monthly pipeline reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Own, achieve (and plan to exceed!) monthly meeting targets

Sales Director – VideoCX

Due to this exciting rapid growth, we are looking to hire a high-performing Sales Director to focus on our VideoCX prospects and clients and help us meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
With a proven track record, impressive client handling skills and a strategic approach, you will be responsible for developing and executing key sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve your financial targets.
Objectives of this Role:
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with VideoCX clients and partners by understanding focus and needs, and anticipating them in advance.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the VP of our VideoCX business unit, you will take ownership of developing a strategic sales plan to expand the VideoCX customer base.
  • Own and plan the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from qualification to closed deal.
  • Own, achieve (and plan to exceed!) annual sales targets across your accounts.

  • Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities; compile and analyze data to identify trends

  • Perform prospecting activities such as cold calling, attending industry events and networking
  • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and identify new growth opportunities.

Skills and Professional Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in a related space (ie. CX, Market Research, Analytics, Business Intelligence, CRM, other).  Experience in an enterprise sales role leading the cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities.
  • Ability to understand client needs, and negotiate costs and services.
  • Experience sales cycles with articulated examples and proof points preferred but not required.  Experience with a company in the same space is a plus.
  • Presentation experience.
  • Experience contributing to proposals and RFP’s preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Applications and Salesforce software, with the aptitude to learn systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Experience developing internal processes.

Director of Inside Sales

The Director of Inside Sales provides overall leadership and direction to the inside sales organization. The Director of Inside Sales will work with the CRO to develop the overall strategy and steward the execution plans to proactively seek out and sell new opportunities. A successful candidate will be focused on winning, accountable for their goals and known for successful sales strategy, operational efficiency, strong leadership and a positive attitude.
What will your day to day look like? 
  • Aligns the inside sales organization’s objectives with the Global Sales growth strategy through active participation in sales strategy development, forecasting and sales resource planning.
  • Work closing with Marketing to refine messaging and utilize best performing collateral
  • Meets assigned targets for sales volume, conversions and other key financial performance objectives.
  • Analyzes and ensures sales goals are met and provides guidance when hurdles associated with sales goals are encountered.
  • Analyzes daily sales metrics and works with Client Service Directors, who provide direct feedback regarding areas of improvement or expansion.
  • Translate the sales strategy into action for Inside Sales Managers to increase the company’s customer base.
  • Coach and develop Inside Sales Managers across all locations.
  • Drive sales results by leading & motivating the team
  • Train and educate Inside Sales Managers across the company, by providing guidance and opportunities to lead the sales training team to increase and enhance their knowledge and skills to build succession planning within the Sales department.
  • Develop/ refine KPI’s that drive production on the sales team are monitored and used to drive accountability.
  • Oversee, participates in and approves the interviewing, hiring and training of departmental employees. Conducts performance evaluations for direct reports
