Cadbury causes chaos over announcement of coin cancellation

Cadbury announced on twitter that they will no longer be making the much beloved chocolate coins. This comes just in time for Christmas where many will be used to finding those golden coins at the bottom of their stockings.

Cadbury have decided to cancel the chocolate treat after they saw a fall in profits with many choosing to buy cheaper coin alternatives in discount stores. It has been suggested that the products have also been cancelled because they are very fiddly to manufacture and Cadbury cannot change them to their iconic purple colouring.

The announcement caused an outcry on Twitter with many loyal Cadbury fans seeming to be bitterly disappointed at the news. Many felt that Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without their favourite chocolate coins.
