It seems to be a happy world for Haribo, with 82% of our panel commenting on how much they enjoyed the latest advert from Haribo. The advert was described as funny and cute while still remaining informative, that manages to engage you for the full extend of the advert. A number of our panel agreed that the advert was a good amount of time, as a large amount of adverts nowadays are just too long.

The majority of our panel liked the advert from Haribo, enjoying the juxtaposition between the adults in an office situation and the children’s voices. Many made the connection of the advert to Haribo’s tag line ‘kids and grown ups love them so, the happy world of Haribo’, that there is a child inside everybody. One of the pluses the panel saw of the advert was the constant reminder of what the advert is about – that the product of Haribo sweets is at the centre of the advert.
A large proportion of the panel felt the advert reflects the core product offering of the Haribo brand, that it is inclusive and for everyone, not just for children. There was the emphasis of the Haribo brand, with the same jingle and tag line being used, that allows the viewer to straight away know the advert is for Hairbo.
Although 18% were indifferent to the advert, commenting that the voices might get annoying if the advert is played frequently. Others felt that the voices of the children were “strange” and “a bit creepy”.
